# Liquidity Rebates

**What it is**: Exchanges often incentivize liquidity providers by offering rebates or

reduced fees for providing liquidity.<br>

**How it works:** Market makers receive these rebates based on their trading volumes

and the liquidity they provide.<br>

**Bull Market:** Higher trading volumes in bull markets mean more opportunities to

earn rebates.<br>

**Bear Market:** Even in lower volume periods, market makers continue to earn

rebates, albeit possibly at a lower rate.
